Membership

STA welcomes new members with an interest in AKC tracking.   We encourage prospective new members to come out and attend one of our tracking events in order to see what it's all about and meet our club members.   For information about club events or membership, please contact our club secretary, Natalie Wiest

STA Objectives

• promote the training of purebred dogs and their handlers;

• conduct, support and promote tracking tests and sanctioned tracking matches under the rules of the American Kennel Club;

• sponsor seminars, workshops and other related events;

• encourage and promote the training of tracking judges;

• disseminate knowledge regarding tracking and encourage the organization of independent local tracking clubs in those areas where the
  re is sufficient interest to meet the requirements of the American Kennel Club. 

Member Judges

The following STA member judges are available for tracking certifications. 

In addition to the above AKC licensed judges, the following STA members are qualified and willing to certify:

AKC rules allow anyone who has handled a dog to a TDX or VST title within the past 10 years to act as an evaluator and certify dogs for tracking.  The following STA members meet this qualification and are willing to do certifications.
